What is personal data?
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal data is defined as:
“Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.”
Why does General Hospital AVIS Medica collect and store personal data?
In order to provide you with specialized medical care and treatment, we are required to collect personal data in accordance with the legal obligations of the company, specifically under the Health Act, the Health Insurance Act, the Medical Establishments Act, and the respective implementing regulations and the National Framework Agreement.
We ensure that the information we collect and use is relevant for this purpose and is not intended to intrude on your privacy.
For communication purposes related to advertising and marketing, General Hospital AVIS Medica will seek your additional consent.
How do you use my personal data?

The hospital processes personal data for the following purposes: (a) Provision of healthcare services – medical diagnostics, treatment, clinical research, etc.; (b) Fulfillment of legal obligations of the company under the Health Act, the Health Insurance Act, the Medical Establishments Act, and related regulations, including the National Framework Agreement; (c) Compliance with labor and social legislation regarding employees; (d) Ensuring the security of patients, staff, and property through video surveillance, registration, physical security, and access control; (e) Other lawful purposes, such as accounting services, maintenance and security of the website and IT systems, protection of the legitimate interests of the company (including through legal proceedings), etc.
Will you transfer or share my personal data with other organizations or individuals?

We will not sell your data to third parties, nor will we disclose it for the purpose of gaining any benefit.
General Hospital AVIS Medica may share your personal data with service providers under contractual agreement with us.
